BRITISH SUCCESSES 2009 - JUNIORS

As explained near the end of the 2008 thread (and as promised to DJ ages ago!), this year's titles are going to be put directly onto a web page in the stats section of the site at http://www.britishtennis.net/stats.html to act as a permanent and easily accessible roll of honour page for all of the successes in 2009.

However, for the juniors I am definitely going to need help from the junior experts on here - please post any ITF junior title wins you notice and I will transfer them to the roll of honour page on a regular basis.

Thanks. When I noticed she was in the Final, I was thinking about the week number too and I agree that 2009 week 0 is the best way to show it.

Week 0/1 Jennifer Ren Singles title Grade 4 Stockholm, Sweden

Another conundrum over the week number, as the tournament main draw ran from Friday to Tuesday. If you don't like 0/1 use 0 as there is another Grade 4 event in Sweden this week!

I hadn't realised that junior tournaments straddled weeks like this. I think I'll just put the date of the Final for each one instead. It wouldn't have been feasible to track back and find all the exact dates when I was compiling last year's table, but it should be easy enough now that I'm picking up the title wins as they happen.

I've added this week's doubles wins for the Thomson twins and Laura Deigman to http://www.britishtennis.net/stats/2009j.htm?n=1 - have I missed any wins from the last couple of weeks?

Nothing missed as far as I am aware, but it was Laura Slater, not Laura Deigman, who won in Oman!

Many thanks. particularly for the detail (exact dates, (...) to denote non-GB so I didn't have to check whether Tom's partner was, etc) - I've now added those wins to the table.
